Senior Packaging Program Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Reports to the R&D/QA Director, oversees Packaging Development function and managing company key programs, such as NPD Process-Mercury Champion and Product Re-engineering.
In charge for some company key initiatives this position is also responsible for Export/Interco Label Development (used to be under Business Development), product margin/re engineering and also managing R&D Capex, R&D expense budget , NPD system (Mercury Champion/Leader)
This position plays a key role to provide plans and strategic direction for packaging functions, technical research, packaging innovations, legal aspect of the packaging, packaging supplier selection, packaging cost and packaging development process/approval.
This position is also responsible to lead cross function project on Packaging-Product cost and margin improvement initiative. This is become critical in the global crisis and competitive situation in Indonesia.
Key contacts will be cross function project team, Strategic Sourcing, ILT NPD, and Regional-Global Packaging Community.
Job Requirements:
• The educational background should be degree in food processing, chemical engineering, or industrial engineering, computer literate, has similar experience at FMCG arround 5 years
• Strong Leadership skill, able to lead internally and for the cross function project
• Technical Skill in Packaging and the process, Product, Quality, and Regulatory
• Project Management Skill
• Negotiation skill to support the best cost-quality packaging
• People management
• Communication and presentation skills
• Comfort to work under pressure
• Willing to be placed at Bekasi
